Getting Bolshie in the Baltic

This is Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation as well as black belt in judo and sambo master. Recently, he was reported as saying that the French President, Nicholas Sarkozy “is interested in martial arts and we have decided to do some training together”.

I do not think he will need to offer additional training to Dalia Grybauskaitė, the current and first female President of Lithuania. She is a black belt in karate.

Now that’s more like it.

Interesting place that, where the pic of Dalia Grybauskaitė (please note the dot on the closing “e”) was taken: Trakai.

(I think that thus far the Lithuanians are the only Baltic people that Putin hasn’t publicly mocked)
