Blackburn Gaza Protest

[Continued from the previous missive…]

From what I understand, separate disciplinary procedures are being considered against Cllr. Mulla of Blackburn and Darwen in connexion with his alleged part in the Lancashire County Council e-mail brou-haha; and I for one would not be at all disappointed if they are realized. Mulla has insisted that he supports local Holocaust Memorial Day events each year, but would not remain silent if he saw similar ‘atrocities’.

I have had a good look around, and there is one genuine sulphur-smelling genocide he appears remarkably silent on. This may be the limitations of Google which, when I use the criteria ~*+”Salim Mulla” +Darfur”, I found only hits on Gaza. I am happy to stand corrected if I can be shown he has led rallies against Darfur as he has with Gaza.

One invited speaker at this rally was Yvonne Ridley, who is either a deep-penetration agent by MI5 [Ed: please don’t mention “deep-penetration” and “Yvonne Ridley” in the same sentence; it made me barf] or a genuine nutter who believes “drinking coca cola is like drinking the blood of Palestinian children” (I would prefer it mixed in with Purim pastries, myself):

Another was Lauren Booth who used her husband’s coma as a poor-me article, and whose step-sister’s husband did something once. Booth does not believe the Jewish Chronicle can be expected to print the truth, and can be seen emerging from a Gaza shop stricken by sanctions:

This is not Gaza in 2009
This is not Gaza in 2009

No, sorry, not that one. This one:

This is not Warsaw in 1942
This is not Warsaw in 1942

Here Booth genuinely is strolling through Hamas palace gardens. Bear in mind that the region was and still is in the grip of a serious drought:

This is how the Hamas-kleptocracy lives
This is how the Hamas-kleptocracy lives

At this time, Booth managed to abuse both the 400,000 Survivors in Israel (by accusing them of repricating the actions of the Nazis) and the victims of the Darfur genocide (by claiming Gaza was in a worse situation). This is Darfur:

This is Darfur in 2009
This is Darfur in 2009

And this is a photograph which Yans Arthus-Betrand never would take:

One of many burning Darfuri villages

What disgusting women, Booth and Ridley are: as, with great delight, I saw many of the readers of the Blackburn Citizen [which I linked to above] also think. Dude, Ridley was there in person! Footage of the pogrom Smurfs for Jihad rally ‘peace-rally’ can be seen, including an appearance by Daud “You Sunk my Navy” Abdullah:

But, back to Mulla.

Sorry but as far as I can tell, Ms Booth did not accuse 400,000 survivors of doing anything, let alone repricating [sic] the actions of the Nazis. Or if she did, this was not reported in the Zionist article you cited as “proof”.

The government of Israel continues to blockade Gaza while building illegal and racist “settlements” on occupied land in the West Bank. It also sanctions the bulldozing of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem. In Operation Cast Lead, it killed hundreds of innocent people.

No, this is certainly not genocide on the same scale as that practised by the Nazis.

But that does not make it ok.

This goes a long way to revealing your psychopathology. You’re not in one of your ju-ju sessions in which you can throw around magic words for a desired effect outwith any argument. Y-Net is a professional news portal, which follows established codes of journalistiic ethics. If you believe it has misreported Booth’s words, by all means provide corrobatory evidence.

This statement dates from nine months ago, in which time I have not seen her disputing the quotatio: instead she has gone to ghastly new level after ghastly new level.

    Thus, the excerpt remains accepted:

When asked about Israel’s right to respond to incessant attacks emanating from Gaza, Booth evoked Holocaust-related rhetoric. “There is no right to punish people this way. There is no justification for this kind of collective punishment. You were in the concentration camps, and I can’t believe that you are allowing the creation of such a camp yourselves.”

So, not only did she compare Gaza directly to the death camps but she explicitly said “you were” there – that is, people who were physically present.

“The Palestinians’ suffering is physical, mental and emotional,”

Residents of border-territory in Israel also experience physical, mental and emotional suffering, which is every bit as a palpable as Gazan civilians… unless, that is, we are to assume the Israeli state cancels out our duty to care by investing in air-raid shelters and early warning systems whilst Hamas or Hezbollah hide behind the skirts of woman.

“there is not a family here in which someone is not in desperate need of work, shelter or food. This is a humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur.

The total dead on *all* sides, combatants and civilians, in the various acts of the A/I conflict over the last century represent a good *season* in Darfur. So, no, it is not on the same scale.

It took me some effort to get my mind around her deranged, self-congratulatory poppycock and complete divorce from any perception of reality. How on Earth can anyone allow photographs to be taken of themselves sauntering through a down-at-heel but functioning metropolitan state with mobile ‘phone reception, wireless Internet access, heaving grocery stores, irrigated presidential palace gardens (during heavy drought in the region); and then smirkingly accept a reward from a snappily-dressed, corpulent Haniyeh… all the while claiming this is a humanitarian basket-case.

The answer is, of course, she’s an emotional vampyre who takes and only takes – Israelis, Gazans, whomever are simply adjuncts in her rotten worldview.

No, this is certainly not genocide on the same scale as that practised by the Nazis.

But that does not make it ok.

It’s not genocide, end of. If she had been interested purely in compassion for fellow human beings – and not the most violently anti-Israel group she could find – she would have described it in its own terms. Maybe, just maybe, Gaza could have been compared to Tblisi or Grozny, but that would have required her to forego that little tickle in her gut when she taunts Jews with Nazi imagery.
