East Caithness Day-Care Project Saved

This week’s Caithness Courier reports on the welcome news that the planned Canisbay and Dunnet Day Care Centre has been given a stay of execution.  It previously had been feared that this project, which aimed to provide a focal point for local residents and day-care for the elderly and other needy individuals, was to be disbanded as insufficient volunteer administrators were available.

Now local businessman, Peter Body (of Norscot) and company manager, Hilda Morrison (at NaverTech) have stepped into the vice-chairman and secretary roles respectively.  The project remains active, with some £60,000 already raised to advance its aims.

Further assistance or community feedback can be provided to Morrison via hilda@naver.co.uk
