Volunteers Clear Pulteneytown Fly-Tipping Site

Volunteers in and around Pulteneytown have banded together to clear a patch of derilict land between Kinnaird Street and Nicolson Street which long has been used as a fly-tipping site. According to the John o’Groat Journal, this involved filling a skip in just 15 minutes.

The print edition of the newspaper directed readers to a video on its website showing this. It no longer appears. One commenter suggests this was due to it showing a trolley from an identified supermarket (presumably the one in the accompanying picture) being placed in the skip.
